What is your return policy?
If you have any issue with your order, please let us know as soon as possible. Refunds or exchanges are only offered within 24 hours of purchase.
Food must be returned to the store in order to receive a credit, remake, or refund.
If 25% or more of the food has been consumed or removed, we cannot issue a discount, refund, or store credit. If the food has been discarded, repackaged, or tampered with, we cannot verify the issue and cannot issue a discount, refund, or store credit.
Do you take reservations?
Yes. We take reservations for larger groups. We do require that all guests be present before being seated.
Do you seat incomplete parties?
No. We do not seat incomplete parties.
All guests must be present before the party can be seated. We do this so larger tables are seated fairly and service can run smoothly.
Do you apply gratuity to large parties/tables?
Yes. An 18% gratuity is added to all groups of 6 or more dining in the restaurant.
Gratuity is based on the size of the group/table, not how the check is split or whether every person orders food. The gratuity is calculated as a percentage of what is ordered, so guests who do not order food are not charged gratuity on food they did not purchase.
100% of the gratuity goes to the server. Our restaurants and managers do not keep any portion of the gratuity.
Can we split the check?
Of course. We are happy to split checks.
Do you sell to-go alcoholic drinks?
No. We do not sell alcoholic drinks to go.
Ordering, Pricing & Portions
Do you sell just sauce?
Our sauce is available only with a seafood boil or other qualifying food purchase. We do not sell individual cups or containers of sauce by themselves.
This has been our policy from day one. We know some guests love the sauce and may want to order it separately, but our sauce is intended to be served with our food rather than sold on its own.
For guests who want to enjoy our flavor but do not eat seafood, we added both a vegetarian boil and a chicken wing boil as non-seafood options.
Why are your DoorDash prices higher than your in-store menu?
DoorDash and other third-party delivery platforms charge restaurants fees for using their service. To help cover those costs, some menu prices may be higher on DoorDash than they are when ordering directly from us.
For the best price, we recommend ordering directly from the restaurant whenever possible.
What comes with a seafood boil?
For seafood boils, each pound of seafood is served with one piece of corn-on-the-cob and one red potato.
How many are in a pound?
Because seafood comes from living creatures, sizes naturally vary. These are educated estimates, not exact guarantees.
| Item | 1/2 lb Estimate | 1 lb Estimate |
|---|---|---|
| Snow Crab Legs | 1 cluster | 2 clusters |
| Shrimp, no head | 10–12 shrimp | 22–25 shrimp |
| Shrimp, with head | 7–8 shrimp | 15 shrimp |
| Blue Crab | 2 crabs | 3 crabs |
| Crawfish | 7–8 crawfish | 15 crawfish |
| Clams | 15–16 clams | 30–32 clams |
| Manila Clams | 10 clams | 20 clams |
| Green Mussels | 6 mussels | 12 mussels |
| Black Mussels | 15–18 mussels | 30–35 mussels |
| Dungeness Crab | 1 cluster | 2 clusters |
King Crab legs are sold by weight. Lobster tails are sold individually. Popcorn shrimp are approximately 40–45 pieces per order.
Portion counts are estimates and may vary based on size.
Why doesn’t my pound of snow crab weigh a pound after cooking?
We buy and sell snow crab by its pre-cooked/frozen weight. Once seafood is heated, thawed, drained, or cooked again at home, the final weight can be lower because moisture, ice glaze, and liquid are lost during the process.
That does not mean you were shorted. It means the crab was sold by the weight used in seafood purchasing and restaurant portioning, not by the weight after it has been reheated, drained, or cooked at home.
How do you sell King Crab legs?
King Crab legs are sold by weight. Each leg is individually weighed, priced, and sold. Because every King Crab leg is a different size, the final price depends on the exact weight of the leg you choose.
Our average King Crab leg is approximately 0.8 lb, but each leg is priced individually by actual weight.
Can I substitute items in a combo?
We do not offer substitutions with our combos.
However, our menu is designed for build-your-own boils, so we can accommodate whatever type of boil you would like. Our only rule is that each boil must weigh 1 pound or more.
Menu Options
Can guests with seafood allergies safely eat at your restaurant?
Cincy Crab & Cincy Seafood are seafood restaurants, and seafood is prepared throughout our kitchens every day. Because of that, we cannot guarantee that any menu item, surface, fryer, utensil, sauce, or preparation area is completely free from seafood or seafood contact.
Seafood allergies can vary greatly from person to person, and even small amounts of cross-contact may cause a serious reaction for some guests. For that reason, guests with seafood allergies should use extreme caution when deciding whether to dine with us.
Please let your server know about any allergy before ordering. We will answer questions as clearly as we can, but the decision to dine with us is ultimately the responsibility of the guest.
For anyone with a severe seafood allergy, we strongly recommend choosing a restaurant that is not seafood-focused.
What type of cooking oil do you use?
We use clear soybean frying shortening for fried items.
If you have a food allergy or dietary concern, please let your server know before ordering so we can help answer any questions about ingredients or preparation.
Can I choose my spice level?
Yes. We offer our famous sauce in mild, medium, hot, or no spice.
Sauce can also be served on the side.
Do you have non-seafood options?
Yes. We offer a vegetarian boil, a chicken wing boil, chicken wings, and chicken tenders.
We also offer a 12 oz. ribeye exclusively at our Kentucky location.
Do you have kids’ meals?
Yes. We have a chicken tender kid’s meal and a popcorn shrimp kid’s meal at both locations.
Do you have crawfish year-round?
Yes. We offer crawfish year-round.
Seafood Questions
Is it true you can only eat raw oysters in months ending in “R”?
That is an old rule of thumb, but it is not a strict rule anymore. The saying came from a time when refrigeration, oyster farming, and food-safety controls were not what they are today.
Raw oysters are still a raw seafood item, so there is always some risk involved with eating them raw. Guests with certain health conditions, weakened immune systems, or concerns about raw shellfish should choose cooked oysters instead.
I found a crab in my raw oyster! What is it?
That tiny crab is most likely a pea crab, sometimes called an oyster crab. Pea crabs occasionally live naturally inside oysters and other shellfish.
They are not a sign that the oyster is bad. Some seafood lovers even consider finding one a little bonus.
As with all raw oysters, there are normal risks associated with eating raw shellfish. Guests with health concerns should choose cooked oysters instead.
Why do my snow crab legs have black spots on them?
Black spots on snow crab legs are usually marks on the shell, not the meat. They can come from the crab’s natural life in the ocean, including shell wear, age, molting, or minor shell damage.
These spots do not automatically mean the crab meat is bad. If your seafood ever has an unusual smell, texture, or appearance beyond normal shell markings, please let us know right away.
